Editing Soundz Like Hamilton

''Soundz Like Hamilton'' is an annual event run over a two week period during NZ music month by [[Hamilton City Libraries]], which has been running since 2005. Various local bands, of all genres, play during this event. The initial aim of the week was to promote the libraries CD collection, and for the first two years it was held in the various community libraries around Hamilton. From 2007 the event bacem confined to the central library. In its initial year [[Greg Page]] ran a seminar on the music industry. 

In the second year of the event (2006), 23 bands performed, including [[This Night Creeps]], [[Trigger Theory]] and [[Eqwanox]]. [[Kimbra]] played at both the 2006 and 2007 events, while [[DateMonthYear]] has performed at every event between 2006 and 2006. A number of high school bands also typically play. In 2009 the lineup includes [[Sumo Love Machine]], [[Red Dynasty]] and [[Chuganaut]].
