Flax Roots was a hip hop trio featuring three MCs, Ren (aka R-Faze), K-Dogg and Mutts, and DJ Ric Rush. Ric Rush was previously in seminal Hamilton hip hop outfit REAL. DJ Miltita joined in 1997, and became known as Flax Roots Militia.
