Clayton Noone, aka CJA, was formerly of the Hamilton bands Armice Pumbpit and the Widdershins. As CJA he released a 7" single entitled Heart in 1994, on Plop Recordings. After moving to Dunedin, he ran the Root Don Lonie for Cash label, whose releases have included former Hamilton Plop Recordings bands Teen-X-Ray, Sugar Jon, Armpit and Pumice. He has continued to release music under the CJA name, and also in bands including the Futurians.
