This page is looking great. You might want to consider having Nova Scotia as a seperate page, if you want, with "category:Hamilton Related Bands". Alternatively, it is fine as it is, but you can enter the Nova Scotia releases with "category:Releases by Hamilton Related Bands". Then add a redirect from Nova Scotia to Negative EH - I can do this if you get stuck. --Thedugganaut 09:01, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
Also, I see you use Negative Eh, with a small "h" - do you want the page moved to have it as Eh rather than EH? --Thedugganaut 20:46, 7 April 2011 (UTC)
Hey, thanks - glad that you are liking it. I did end up starting a Nova Scotia page under "category:Hamilton Related Bands" but I have put work on hold for a little bit. I am gathering bits and pieces and I will update it soon. I guess some of the info here will need to be moved to the Nova Scotia page (particularly the image). We were also wondering, does each of our current solo outfits count as Hamilton related bands? Should we add them as well? Really loving the idea as well - a Hamilton music Wiki, who would have thought. Been a lot of fun looking up all the old bands we used to play with. Keep up the great work. --User:Artdick 23:58, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
I think if the other offshoots are recording and physically releasing music, then feel free to create page for these, but if not (i.e., just performing, online release) just keep the descriptions within the other pages. Here is the description fron the "Hamilton Related Bands" page which should give some guidance - "prominent" is a litle open, but I think if you are recording and releasing music as described above, that is great:
"This category includes bands with strong links to Hamilton, such as prominent bands formed outside Hamilton but featuring members of ex-Hamilton bands, and bands from outside Hamilton that have included members who moved to form prominent Hamilton bands. Bands with only tenuous links to Hamilton should not be included in this wiki."
Also, any preference for Eh or EH, so I can do page moves if needed? --Thedugganaut 00:48, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
Sweet - sounds good. In terms of Eh or EH, officially it is "Negative Eh" so I guess go ahead and move the pages. Thanks again!! BTW - not sure if this makes a difference, but I did make a redirect for Negative Eh to go to Negative EH. --User:Artdick 20:58, 20 April 2011 (UTC)
