Desperate Chaps can perhaps be best remembered as a band that played at school disco's and schools balls throughout the Waikato during the 1980s. However, they also released one single, She Couldnt Love Me, which was also released on the 1990 compilation Just Teasing V1. The band was fronted by Steve Jackson.
