Formed in Wellington by ex-Hamiltonian Gillian Woods (vocals, guitar, mandolin, various instruments) and husband Mark Henderson (violin and various other instruments).
Henderwood were briefly based in Hamilton (2002 - 2003) where members also included bassist Alan Deare (of Number Thieves, Book of Martyrs, Gas) and percussionist/multi-instrumentalist Peter Caldwell (Hand of Glory, Tsunami Band, Alla Zingaro, Conway et al). Henderwood have since returned to Wellington, where they have released one radio-only single, Impatient For Perfection, followed by an album titled Here's one we Prepared Earlier.
