Chris Diprose is a musician who got his start playing drums in the Fraser High School based hardcore outfit, Gift. After this group broke up, Diprose would go on to play in a number of bands, including stints as drummer for Amy Racecar, Late 80's Mercedes and as singer and guitarist for Straightline.
Throughout the 2000s, Diprose ran Dudley Studios, a professional recording studio responsible for recording a number of Hamilton based artists.
Diprose studied at Waikato Institute of Technology where he earned a degree in music composition.
