Dynasty were a five-piece band from the 1960s, which evolved out of The Paragons, with the addition of Ian Robertson on keyboards. The band attracted good crowds during Friday night performances at Starlight Ballroom, and appeared on the C'Mon show with Peter Sinclair.
Thompson went on to Mandrake, before moving to Australia, and then the UK, and joining Manfred Mann' Earth Band in 1976. Guitarist Tony Armitage-Johnstone moved to England in the late 1960s.
