Mike Miller was the song-writer, guitarist and pianist for Tsunami Band, on-and-off, between 1989 and 1996. He was also an occasional busker, and performed solo once under the moniker Blind Boy Nicotine in 1989. He released the track Tsunami on the 1989 compilation Surf Music under this name.
In March 2016, a compilation was released of various artists playing songs by Miller, called Lost on a Highwire.
