Born in Panama to Russian-American Jews in 1946, Richard Selinkoff is a poet, and member of New Millennium Beatniks.
Spending the 1960s and '70s in the continental United States, he moved to Micronesia in the 80s, where he worked as a teacher and a journalist. He moved to Otorohanga in the 1990s as a high school teacher. In 2008, he joined with Martin Fisher on double bass to form the New Millennium Beatniks. Under his own name, he has released the song Life in an Infinite Plane on the Lost on a Highwire compilation.
