Coral Pitcher is a singer/songwriter, who performs under the name Coral.
In 2008, at 14, Coral appeared on the TV programme New Zealand's Got Talent, performing the Wizard of Oz song Over The Rainbow. In 2012 she made the final of the Biddy Mulligan's Band Battle, performing with Stevie Ransfield (bass) and Sophie Arnold (drums) as Coral and the Current. Since this time she has primarily performed solo, including regular gigs at Biddy Mulligan's and Diggers. She released an acoustic EP, Don't Forget to Look at the Beautiful Too, in April 2014. In 2017, she released her debut album, My Addictive DNA.
In July 2018, Coral has been included among a New Zealand contingent to compete at the 'World Championships of Performing Arts', held in Hollywood, California.
