Andrew Johnstone was a vocalist in Three Men Missing and Hoola Troupe in the late 1980s to early 1990s, and released a solo album in 1994. In the early 2010s, he was writing stories for Rip it Up, including Hamilton content, and was the final editor of the magazine. Following this, he wrote for a time for Audioculture.
