Static was an indie rock dance bar located at 5 Hood Street (formerly Sekure Bar and Restaurant), which opened in May 2011. The venue holds approximately 60-70 people. Bands frequently played there between 2011 until 2013, and a couple of gigs were held again in 2015. While still operating, it is now primarily a venue for dance music, no longer hosting bands.
