Claudelands Arena

Claudelands Arena is a 6000 standing, or 5000 seated, capacity multi-purpose arena, designed for concerts, live entertainment, international sporting events and large banquets. The arena was completed in June 2011, with a public open day on Saturday 18 June.

The first major music event held there was Edgetravaganza on 16 July 2011, while the national final of Rockquest was held there on 17 September 2011.

Claudelands Showgrounds hosted Dragon on 27 September 1978.
