Masochrist were a black/death metal band formed in 1998, featuring Phillip Wright (vocals, guitar), Julian Baddie (ex-Thunder Monkey and Swamp Goblin; bass), and Dane (drums).
Releases included the Inferno Black single (1998), Nothing Is Forever album (1999), Eternal Antichrist EP (2000) and Last Disaster album (2001).
All three went on to form Ruin in 2001, and Wright and Baddie went on to D'Maskus in 2003.
