Diggers, at 17B Hood Street, is located in a heritage buiding dating from 1903. It opened as Diggers sometime in the mid-1990's, and provided a small venue for local original and covers bands. In the late 1990's the Diggers Back Bar opened, which allowed a larger space for bands to play.
MSU held their 10th anniversary gig in the back bar, which also hosted the inagural Circle Jerk.
