Chanelle Davis is a Tauranga raised, but Hamilton based, singer, pianist and songwriter, who has been compared in style to Brooke Fraser. She is a graduate of Wintec with a Media Arts degree in Commercial Music, majoring in song writing. Her song Alight appears on the 2006 compilation Area 07, and her first album, Better than Alone, was released in August 2006. In 2007 she moved to Auckland in the hope of attaining greater exposure.
