Described as "progressive rock" or "space rock", Moby Trip were a three piece band featuring Ray Stroud (bass, vocals), John Stroud (guitar, vocals), and Anthony Van der Putten (drums). Outside of this project, the three all play blues in Johnny and the Phantoms. In 1998 they released the album titled NKU on Cranium Music. The album was recorded live from a single performance, at the Carlton Theatre to an audience of four, in November 1997.
