Late 80's Mercedes are a 9-piece swing-funk band, including a 5-piece brass section. Their sets largely comprise performances of classic songs in a swing-funk style, including Lose Yourself by Eminem. Although they dont openly call themselves a christian band, they have a large following in the christian community and play at Christian music events such as the Parachute Festival. They have three songs on the 2002 Youth For Christ compilation CTC: Swing it, Strong and Superstition.
