Ray Goodwin is best known as a guitarist for Dragon. He left the band soon after they moved to Australia. In the 1960s and 1970s he was a member of Hamilton bands Third Reich Blues Band, The Jacob Manning Group, OK Dinghy and Anteapot, before moving to Auckland. The latter band eventually evolved into Dragon.
