The Weather was a band formed in 2004 by Matthew Bannister, sometimes billed as Matthew Bannister & The Weather. They were originally based in Auckland where they recorded their debut album Aroha Ave, but were based in Hamilton prior to their break up. Several members from The Weather joined Matthew in his next band, The Changing Same.
