The Seed are a band comprising members from Hamilton Christian Scool, Fairfield College and Fraser High School. They came third in the 2009 Rockquest competition national finals. During this competition they competed for a place in the national final in the Bay of Plenty Regional competition, as the final of the Waikato competition was held on a Sunday, at odds with their religious beliefs.
