Eshalon are a Hamilton-based band who formed c. 2006. The members met while studying at Vision College, a private Christian educational institution in Hamilton. Gigs have included the Waikato University Christmas in the Park, Parachute Festival, and at the inaugural Hamilton 400 V8s. They decribe their music as "alternative pop". The band released their first EP, First Glimpse, with a gig at Flow Bar on Friday 11 December 2009.

Tom Chapman-Smith had previously been a member of Z Amigos. Nick Kraenzlin went on to Sound the Ocean.
