Bloodlux formed in late 2017, and had their first performance at Future City Festival in March 2018. This performance was followed up by a gig at Valhalla in Wellington on 20 April. The band includes Chloe Francis (vocals) and Wairehu Grant (formerly of The Goth and the Pixie and Celebrity Death Hoax; guitar), as well as Nathan Bregman (drums) and Alex. The band played at the Hamilton Circle Jerk 2018.
