Neil Nooyen was the former lead singer of 1960s Hamilton band the Foremost Four. Later he became the owner of the original Tandy's music store in Hamilton. In the early 1990s Nooyen released a solo album, Destiny, and has released three more albums in the 2000s; Wish I Could Fly, Shapes and Over and Over. Hang on Sloopy and No. 17 appear on the 1990 compilation Just Teasing V1, and No. 17 also appears on the 2015 compilation Hamiltune - Rockin' the Tron in the 80's.
