Mandrake was a Hamilton band from the late 1960s and/or early 1970s that included Ivan Thompson (keyboards) and Neil Storey (drums). The band moved to Auckland where they had residency at Grannies Nightclub. After Mandrake split up, Thompson and Storey both became early members of Dragon.
