Formed in early 1991, GIMBIMLYB initially featured Mike D'Young (vocals and guitar) and Dave White (bass), and were soon joined by Stu Armstrong (drums) and Nasrudin Ukrainec (vocals). Dave Whitehead joined the band on guitar for a short time. GIMBIMLYB apparently stood for "Give me back my lighter you bastard", and fronted by "Naz", GIMBIMLYB always had an interesting live show. They released a cassette titled 8 in 1992, and a track titled Sizzle appears on the 1992 compilation Juice Extractor.
