Eightyeight is a music production research and development team based at [[DownbeatStudio]], lead by [[Daniel Howard]] (arrangements) and [[Chris Field]] (keyboards and trumpet). Over a four year period from 2000 - 2004, with numerous collaborators, they recorded at least an album's worth of material, but only released one 5 track EP called ''[[Cool Drop]]''. 500 copies were distributed to friends.
