Arkane were a Hardcore/Metal band active in 1997-1999. The band had two tracks, "Lifeless" and "Tied Down", on the compilation All we have is Metal. Arkane played gigs mainly in Hamilton, Auckland and Wellington, and played support for Australian bands Ceasefire and Mindsnare.

- South went on to My Two Cents and Blazon with Andre Row (ex-Vendetta) and Luke McPake before This Night Creeps
- Carter went on to play in Daredevil and Vendetta for a short period after the Lurman brothers left, then to play in Regime in 2011
