Powertool Records logo

Although not a Hamilton Label, Powertool Records is an Auckland label that has been extremely supportive of Hamilton music. The label has released albums and/or EPs by Daisy Chain Halo, Gina Rocco and The Shrugs, and they act as a distributer for Nimbus and Dead Pan Rangers releases. They run the Kaleidoscope World concerts, two of which have taken place in Hamilton, and release the associated compilations that have included a number of Hamilton bands. They also publish Drill Magazine, and their associated sampler CDs, which have included articles on, and songs by, The Shrugs and Dead Pan Rangers.
