Formed in 1992, Hamilton, New Zealand.
The members changed over the years 1992-1995, but was originally founded in Hamilton, 1992 by ben Thomas, Simon Saunders and Sean McGlynn. Quorthon played extremely heavy and slow bowel rumbling metal inspired by a medical dictionary's description of constipation and it's ailments. Often found supporting Sinfeeder at seedy Hamilton venues or once on tour in Rotorua.
