Ruin were a "doom metal" band formed in 1998 and featured Julian Baddie (guitar; formerly of Thunder Monkey and Swamp Goblin), Phil (guitar), Matt Bulldozer (bass) and Dane (drums; ex-Enshrine and Sinfeeder). The song None of the Bells and Whistles was released on the They Came from Nowhere compilation. They later changed their name to D'Maskus.
