The Floral Dance was an EP released by baritone Paul Gilmore following his win of the 1957 Mobil Song Contest. It was released by Mobil Record Club, and available through Mobil service stations. The record was a square acetate coated card, which could be played at 45rpm. The song The Floral Dance was orignially written in 1911 by Katie Moss. Numerous versions of the song have been recorded by various artists since this time, and it twice entered the UK charts in the 1970s.
