Nigel Stewart.
Born and raised in Te Awamutu in the mid late 70's, relocated to Hamilton City in Feb. 1990. Predominantly resident of Hamilton East since.
In 1991 Nigel discovered Nexus Magazine, and Contact 89FM
In 1996 Nigel joined Contact 89FM as a volunteer announcer
In 1997 Nigel joined Supersonic Soundsystem Thursdays with a Drum and Bass show slotted in between the Dub and Reggae Show hosted by DJ Atmosphere, and Hip Hop Impact, with Omega B.
In 1998 Nigel left Contact 89FM to pursue marginal amounts of travel
In 1999 Nigel joined 89UFM as a volunteer announcer taking over the Biosphere show previously hosted by DJ Paul Medder
In 2000 Nigel joined 89UFM as paid staff, hosting the Midnight to Dawn show, then went on to fill in Martin Walters pre Breakfast show host role as Copy Writer
In 2000 Nigel along with all other staff was made redundant.
