The Irritants were an early 1980s Hamilton punk band. They became famous for a wild early morning Telethon appearance and their mosquito emblem, which was painted on many of the city's prominent surfaces, including the city water tower. They played a number of gigs at The Room, above Tandy's, before the venue became Radio Rhema. They never recorded.
