The ''Hamilton Caledonian Society's Pipe Band'', otherwise known as ''The Cales'', was formed in 1928. The band competes nationally, and performs at Civic Functions, International Rugby matches, Sporting Parades, Christmas Parades, Race meetings, Special Olympics, University and Polytechnic Graduations, Concerts and other engagements.
