T. S. Webster was the owner of a music stores in Hamilton, Stevens and Webster from 1915 and Webster's Music Store from 1916.
He was also the composer of March Waikato, "dedicated to the memory of the sacred Waikatos and their comrades". Although less known in New Zealand in 1916, it was said to be exceedingly popular in Great Britain, where it was played regularly as an opening piece by many famous military bands, including the hand of the Royal Horse Artillery.
