Judge Hoffman were a seven-piece band who won the P and O Battle of the Bands in 1972. On Labour weekend 1972 the band broke the world non-stop playing record by performing for 72 hours at Hamilton's Tabla 2 nightclub, located at 30 Barton Street. They were the resident band at Tabla 2, following the departure of Mandrake.
