Still from the 'Loverboy' video

Phum Viphurit (a.k.a. Viphurit Siritip; b. 16 August 1995) is a Thai born, Hamilton raised indie-pop singer/songwriter, now resident in Bangkok. Phum lived in Hamilton between the ages of 6 and 18, where he attended Hillcrest High School. Following this time, he returned to Bangkok to attend film school.

Viphurit's interest in making music began when he moved to New Zealand, though his major successes have occurred since returning to Thailand. He released his debut album Manchild in 2017. The album was initially released as a digital download via Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music. However, in 2018, the album was re-released on transparent yellow coloured vinyl by Hong Kong label White Noise Records (WN1019), and on CD by Japanese label Lirico ‎(LIIP-1531). His video for the song 'Loverboy', released in 2018, has over 45 million views on Youtube, while others also number in the millions of views. He has performed in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Europe and the United States. Phum is signed to Thai label Rats Records.
