Swamp Goblin were Mark Courtney (vocals), Julian Smith (guitar), Simon Nudds (bass), Eric O'Kane (drums) and Mike Bellay. They came to prominance when they won the innagural 1993 Contact 89fm Battle of the Bands. A song from a performance in the heats survives on the They came to take us alive compilation. From their prize money they recorded and released a six track cassette, Skin.
