The Riff Raff statue, of the character Riff Raff from the musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show, is situated on the former site of The Embassy Theatre on Victoria St. The statue commemorates former Hamiltonian Richard O'Brien, who wrote the musical "Rocky Horror Show" and appeared as Riff Raff in the 1970 movie "The Rocky Horror Picture Show". O'Brien wrote several of the songs featured in Rocky Horror while living in Hamilton, and has stated "My devious character was certainly formed by the times I had in Hamilton."

The Embassy Theatre was the home of the Late Night Double Feature Picture Show and the barber shop where Richard O'Brien cut hair between 1959 to 1964. The statue is a cast bronze sculpture created by Weta Workshop, designed by Greg Broadmore, sculpted by Brigitte Wuest and engineered by Dave Irons. It was unveiled at midnight on Friday 26 November 2004. A live webcam focussing on the statue went live on the fifth anniversary of the unvieling, 26 November 2006.
