Jacqui Keelan Davey was a Hamilton singer-songwriter. She released her debut eight-track cassette called My Song via Hark Records in 1993. She later shortened her name to Jacqui Keelan and based herself in Wellington. Another album, Wahine, was released in 2000. Keelan has provided the opening for Tina Turner, Dudley Moore and Peter Andre. She has also acted a judge on the Maori TV show Maorioke. She runs and owns Waru Records. She is the mother of Leon Keelan Davey from Katchafire and Wellington based R&B artist Zemara Waru Keelan, and is the aunty of Tyna Keelan.
