Warwick Keay

Warwick Keay was born in Palmerston North in 1957, the son of Allan Keay, an accomplished amateur pianist and choral conductor. Early instruments played by Warwick Keay included the cornet and the violin. While living in Hamilton in the late 1970s and early 1980s, Keay played bass for Flight 77/Flight X-7. Prior to these bands he played in Euphoria and Gasworks Band, while after leaving Hamilton he played in The Knobz, The Mad Ranks and Auckland Walk. In the mid-1980s he moved to Sydney.
