The Kumquats were a funk pop band that existed from the late-1990s to the early 2000s, and possessed a strong Christian fanbase. They were popular at the Parachute christian music festival, but also played at Contact 89FM's Busking competition and 2000s Battle of the Bands, bringing their loyal fanbase along with them. They released the albums Collision (1998) and Live@TheMeteor (1999). All songs were written by Sam Trenwith. After the bands breakup, some of the members became The New KQ, who soon changed their name to Radiator.
