Masochrist were a black/death metal band formed in 1998, featuring Phillip Wright (vocals, guitar), Julian Baddie (ex-Thunder Monkey and Swamp Goblin; bass), and Dane (drums). All three went on to form Ruin in 2001, and Wright and Baddie went on to D'Maskus in 2003.
