Alayna

Alayna Ashby performed music under the name Alayna, aimed mainly at a GBLT or women's audience. She had the track You on the 1992 compilation Juice Extractor, featuring Vicki Vessaria (vocals) and Dave Whitehead (bass, drums, keybards). She is a former Waikato Students Union President, and in 1996 was president of the New Zealand Union of Students' Associations (NZUSA). She is now a mortgage Broker in Wellington
