A Low Hum

A Low Hum is a monthly NZ-wide Tour/CD/Magazine run by music-enthusiast, musician and photographer Blink. The Hamilton tour shows are usually put on at either Sohl or Ward Lane. They showcase 3-4 bands hand-picked by Blink.

Entry fee is $10 for entry only or $15 for entry, A Low Hum Magazine, and a double CD.

Hamilton band The Shrugs appeared on the compilations associated with A Low Hum issues 11 and 12 (series 2), while The Deadly Deaths have appeared on series 3, issue 6 and Dean on series 3, issue 9. A compilation of Dead Pan Rangers songs culled from their albums and EP was issued as a bonus CD with series 3, issue 2. This issue also includes a song by Gadget Goose.

Three DVDs have been released, with The Clerics featuring on A Low Hum DVD 2 and The Deadly Deaths on A Low Hum DVD 3.
