The Red Hot Peppers were a 1970's rock/pop group who formed in Hamilton, and later reformed in Australia. Initially they comprised Robbie Laven (muliple instruments), Marion Arts (vocals), Mike Farrell (guitar), Phil Baxter (bass) and Jim McMillan (drums). Hans Laven replaced Farrell on guitar while still in Hamilton. Their reformed lineup featured R. Laven, Arts, Farrell, Vaughn Mayberry (drums) and Pete Kershaw (bass).
