The Bronx
The Bronx were a Hamilton rock group from the early 1980's, initially featuring Ian Jeffries (guitar, keyboards), Rik Bernards (guitar, piano, vocals), John Bell (bass) and Kevin Smith (drums). Later, the lineup evolved into Jeffries, Robert Smith (guitar, vocals), John Bell (bass) and Jeff Lethberg (drums).
The band released two singles and an album. The band played at the Sweetwaters festival in 1983. Their Sweetwaters performance was initially delayed for an hour by a power failure, after which they played in gusty conditions. The had a two year residency at the Hamilton Hoteal Ian Jefferies went on to join the Politicians and Rik Bernards joined Knightshade.
