Ritchie Pickett (16 February 1955 – 13 March 2011) lived in Hamilton during the early 1970s and again in the late-1980s. In the early 1970s he was a member of Hamilton based rock n' roll revival band Graffiti. He left Hamilton in 1976 when he joined Think. While living back in Hamilton, he wrote 3am Hamilton Sunday Morning, a true story about walking home drunk. The song included a number of Hamilton street names and occurrences experienced as he walked home. In the late 1980s he formed a band with Liam Ryan called the Ryan-Pickett Band.
